About Katriona Fitzpatrick

I’m Katriona Fitzpatrick — HR Manager, wellness facilitator, psychology graduate, columnist, and most importantly… a woman who’s lived a life or two.

With an MBS in Human Resource Management and a BSc in Psychology, I currently lead HR for Mulligans Pharmacy Group, supporting 300+ employees across 19 locations in Ireland. But I’m not your typical HR professional. I bring a wellbeing-first approach to everything I do — blending mindfulness, positive psychology, and lived experience to create workplaces that aren’t just productive, but actually enjoyable (imagine that!).

Through Mindful Serenity Wellness, I offer workplace meditation, wellbeing programs, and stress reduction workshops tailored for leaders and teams. I help companies tackle burnout, boost engagement, and build cultures where people actually want to stay.

Specialist Areas

Because of my own life journey — and years of deep study — I have a particular interest in personality dynamics, including narcissism and codependency. I speak on these topics with a no-nonsense clarity that comes from both the textbooks and real life.

Life, as It’s Lived

I didn’t learn everything about people from lectures or PowerPoint slides. Like most of us, I learnt the hard way — through heartbreak, healing, raising two brilliant (and occasionally infuriating) sons on my own, and navigating the madness of modern life with grit and grace.

My greatest qualification? Living it.

And I bring that to my work — showing people how to navigate their own stress, setbacks, and “oh for feck’s sake” moments with humour, compassion, and practical tools. I don’t just help people survive their challenges — I help them reset, realign, and rise (and maybe have a laugh along the way).

Writing & Creativity

Every week, I write a wellbeing column for The Munster Express, where I explore the ups and downs of the human experience with honesty, empathy, and the odd sarcastic remark. I credit my late mother for passing on the creative streak — and the deep belief that words can heal.
